EDO RAM in Blizzard A1260 accelerator...
« on: February 13, 2004, 09:43:54 PM »
I purchased some 60ns RAM (2x 32MB SIMM's) for my A1260 '060 accelerator (66MHz).  The auction item said nothing about EDO RAM - but it's EDO all right.  I installed it and it _seems_ to be working fine.  I thought EDO would not work...

Is it working slower than regular fpm RAM?

Thanks.

EDO is normal ram! It just supports an extra mode that other memory doesn't. Your card won't use that mode.

Don't worry :-)
