Threaten to cut the floppy in half, then who ever throws themself upon the floppy in an attempt to preserve it, is the one who you must choose.

And me too! Actually I've never sold any Amiga software on eBay, or anywhere else for that matter...  I like and use my Miggy stuff! :)

Here is a thought, mind you this might start flame wars, but that's just more fun for the rest of us.
You could have the community vouch for the said recipient of your software. I think most of us still fairly active are familiar with one another's user, collector, and selling habits.

This is a hard one. Unless you can read minds, I don't have an idea. Unless it is some one you know (hard to know everyone) or see if they sell stuff (serch their posts).
I try to take people at their word though. Someone gave me a beautiful A1000 with all sorts of add ons - with the promise I would not sell it. That was about 8 years ago, and I still have all the stuff (and still use it!)
A2000 GVP 40MHz \'030, 21Mb RAM SD/FF, 2 floppies, internal CD-ROM drive, micromys v3 w/laser mouse
A1000 Microbotics Starboard II w/2Mb 1080, & external floppy (AIRdrive)
C-128 w/1571, 1750, & Final Cartridge III+

Oh sure, trust, honor, and respect for one another is all good and well, but it doesn't insite flame wars. Freaking boring. We need some holiday action around here!

Knowledge test. Resellers only have a vague knowledge of Amiga. They usually refer to it as vintage 1990 collector item etc.

Good point!  Describing something as "rare" or "vintage".  Also they rarely provide anything more than cursory information or photos, and over-price the heck out of things, like this clown:

Write "NOT TO BE SOLD ON EBAY" with a big fat sharpie felt tip marker all over the box cover and disks.
Music I've made using Amigas and other retro-instruments: http://theovoids.bandcamp.com
