Are there any alternative ways to make clickable URLs appear?
;-) A URL works as shown below.  Just remember to substitute square brackets for the curly ones.

{url=http://www.amiga.org/}Click here.{/url}

With the square brackets, Xoops will translate it into proper HTML, as shown below.

Click here.

:pint: Enjoy!

@Quixote:
Wow, thanks!  I'll give that a try next time.
Seems A.Org is always full of nice surprises and hidden secrets.

I don't suppose you can do something similar to change text colour/style?
Perhaps I shouldn't be so lazy and read the site guide :-)
Is there a complete list of text functions in there or somewhere else?

Something to keep in mind.  I'm working on finding a way for the JavaScript to work on Amiga.org with the Amiga browsers.  I've got a working sample on my web site under "Javascript Research" that also has more functionality than the default UBB stylizer that comes with xoops.  Doing this will require a complete rewrite of the JavaScript code which may potentially break some functionality.  I'll keep you posted as things are updated.

Uhm... guys?

The "more" window pops up just fine in both IBrowse and Voyager.  :-)  In fact I'm staring at an IBrowse window with it open right now! :-D 8-) :-P

Voyager: available through v3.vapor.com
IBrowse2.3: available through IOSpirit.de

:-P [end :ranting:]

Targhan

@Castellen:

;-) As before, just replace the curly brackets with square ones, and Xoops will translate the codes to proper HTML for you.

{email}Castellen@Amiga.org{/email}
Castellen@Amiga.org

{img}http://www.amiga.org/uploads/cavt402fd446d393e.gif{/img}

(Try not to overuse this one.  Large images, or many images, increase load time, especially when imported form other servers.  Remember that some users are on dial-up connections, myself included.  It's a judgement call.  Just be mindful of the above and you should be all right.)

{b}bold text{/b}
bold text

{i}italic text{/i}
italic text

{u}underlined text{/u}
underlined text

{d}deleted text{/d}
[d]deleted text, (struck through)[/d]

{size=large}large text{/size}
large text
(Sizes include xx-small, x-small, small, medium, large, x-large, xx-large.)

{font=Impact}specific font text{/font}
specific font text
(Fonts include Arial, Courier, Georgia, Helvetica, Impact, Veranda.)

{color=FF3333}colored text{/color}
colored text
(colors are 000000 through FFFFFF)

:pint: You can also nest the codes inside each other, but you don't want to overdo that, either. That's it.  Have fun!
