Fun House
« on: August 30, 2013, 11:38:50 PM »
Probably won't mean much to non uk forum readers but..
I just turned the TV over to challenge and fun house was on
The top prize was a "fantastic computer screen and keyboard"
The keyboard was actually an Amiga 500+ and it seemed to come with Batman the Movie.

I had to see if they won it and they did. Well done those 80's kids

I remember back in the 90's the BBC ran a word game called Catchword presented by Paul Coia.

The top prize each episode was an A500.

This show was also significant as all the on screen graphics were generated by Amigas too.

I remember fun house, then Knightmare would be on. Then later years Finders Keepers would air. I also got into CyberZone, Crystal Maze, Krypton Factor, Scavengers, Virtually Impossible and Gamesmaster.

edit..

Great now I am remembering all the look and read shows from my youth. Such as Through The Dragon's Eye.

If that is the show I think it is, one of the coders (Accolyte) in the demo group Cydonia coded the application for it. I remember him showing it to me when it was done and at the time I thought it was pretty cool that a show was using an Amiga.
