WTB: Amiga 1000 expansions
« on: February 19, 2013, 06:31:11 AM »
Looking for anything really -- RAM, SCSI controller, etc. I just set up my A1000 in the den, and all it has now is 512K of chipram, a Kwickstart II board with 1.3 and 2.04 Kickstart ROMs, two external 1010 floppy drives and an original Amiga 1080 monitor. I seem to have lost the other stuff I used to have (SCSI controller with fastram and HD enclosure).

Lots of Amigas here, but I'd like to get the old girl going again.

Ah I'm doing the exact same thing as soon as my basement office is finished ! Got my pimped out 1200 but nothing beats my A1000 with 40mb external scsi HD & original Amiga monitor :-)

First thing you gotta get is one of kippers 4 or 8mb internal fast ram boards here:
http://kipper2k.com/amigaforsale/

Quality stuff always from kipper so buy with confidence.

If you want to join in on the group buy for a new GBA1000 board just join in on the thread over here.

Thanks! Did not know about Kipper's stuff but the 8MB board with offset adapter is exactly what I need. On it!

I'll have a Spirit board with 1.5 megs of RAM by next week if you are interested. Not sure what they are worth these days.
