About real AmiKit
« on: March 14, 2013, 02:17:35 AM »
In my Amiga 1200 main HD I have the following thing installed:

1) WorkBench 3.1
2) On top of workbench 3.1 I have installed OS 3.9
3) On top of OS 3.9 I have installed AmigaSYS AGA (but it is not installed correctly, so it does not show up the AmigaSYS splash screen during bootup with the cool music chime)

But I want to upgrade it to AmiKit real for AGA, the question is can I just put it on top of all of this and should be fine or do I need to install it in a fresh BLANK HD?

I wouldn't put it over the top. Good idea to start with a fresh install of 3.9.

Good idea! I am planning of doing a fresh format of everything actually, only because I want to install the new file system PFS3! Perhaps with that new file system, system performance will increase heavily too!
