Getting Samplitude to work with Maestro/Maestrix?
« on: February 03, 2013, 05:06:05 AM »
Hi,

Apparently Samplitude (the audio editor) supports the Maestro sound card for the Amiga.

Now, there is also this little commodity on Aminet called "The Maestrix" which makes your Amiga think it has a Maestro sound card installed, and routes the audio to AHI.

So, essentially, it makes any software that is not AHI compliant, BUT supports the Maestro card, AHI compatible (without needing a real Maestro card).

I've already got OctaMED Sound Studio working this way - it will now play 16-bit audio through Maestrix to AHI.

Now I am trying to get Samplitude to work with the Maestrix by turning on it's Maestro support....but I can't seem to figure out how to "turn it on".  I'm only getting Paula output through Samplitude.

Has anyone ever got the above working?
