I moved my amiga to a new case and I have the older mediator with the at power plugs and I plugged them in by accident the wrong way around so the grounds wernt in the middle.
I plugged in the 4 pin plug in the back at the same time as the backwards plugged at connectors, thats what you do at 2pm in the morning when you shuld go to bed :-( .
Now the mediator wont pickup in the early startup menu in my amiga 1200 im prity sure i fried it, as i now have to boot with the jumper on the mediator in the other position or it wont boot and it now takes 20 or so more seconds to boot on startup than it did before.
My blizzard ppc card still works and so does my amiga and I tested my pci cards in a pc and they still go so i can still use my amiga but no internet for the meantime and im back to using my bi vision from my voodoo card.
I'm guessing the clpd chips on the board will be fried how do i go about getting it repaired or could i just replace the mach chips my self if i buy them from somewhere or could the amiga be faulty?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
