« on: November 16, 2012, 12:59:04 AM »
I have a problem with burning the eprom, is there anyone who can tell me what the checksum is correct.

I have CVP A2000 HC +8 Series II and I download this version.

I had problems burning that eprom with the file from that site as well.  I have burned an EPROM in 2 halves before, but never got this attempt to work.  I went here http://amigaromarchives.limewebs.com/ and downloaded the correct file, and just burned it as one complete burn instead of two halves.  It worked great for me.  Hope this helps.

On edit, I burned the 3.15 ROM on a 27C128, and I noticed that the 4.15 file goes on a 27C256, so you still may have to burn it in halves.  I had a version 4.15, that was on a 27C256, and ended up just copying that rom.  I used it in my 030 combo card and it works fine.  If you can't get it to work, let me know, and I can email you the 4.15 file, that you can burn direct to a 27C256, and it should work.

I know what to do.  (Beings I'm apparently the dirty pirate that sells this ROM for $10 as a service to people who can't do it themselves)  What you have to do is double the image to make it 32K for a 27C256 EPROM.  ;)

Right, just burn the same image into both halves.  You should be able to do this, just set the burner to program the first half, and stop.  Then, set it to burn the second half.  That is the way I do it anyway.  Like I said, I have a copy of the file, if you just want to burn it in one go.  Let me know if you need it.
