Hello

I have i a problem i have buy my infinitiv tower with a expention card that we connect to the expention port of the amiga a1200 not sure the name of the port .
Its where we connect the turbo card :)) on the a1200.

The problem is for the moment i was never able to start my amiga with this board connected .

When i connect the expention board that is a micronik model bu-12-6870 my amiga simply not boot .
I have try with and without my blizzard ppc card and that change nothing :(( .

The problem is that there is a lot of jumper on this card and i dont have any docs and i dont have find anything for this model on the net :(( .

I have buy this to amiga city brussels but after it was selled to me they never got time to help me to have it running .

So i start to think i was screwed or so due that i have try a lot of think nothing work to have it working .

is there any way to test it ?

There is 3 pci slots and one scsi connector
1 isa look like and 2 zorro 2 or 3 and 2 other zorro 2 or 3 sorry i can not say more i not see what is a zorro port i know i am stupid :(( .

Doe some one have a picture to show me what is the zorro 2 and zorro 3 port also :)

You might want to look here, http://www.amiga-hardware.com/microz3imkiibusb.html.  This sounds like your board and you can find a 'manual' there...

Unfortunately, if this is your busboard, it is not an "active" PCI busboard like the Mediator, Prometheus, or G-REX.  The PCI slots on your board are "passive".  In other words, you won't be able to use PCI cards with it...  Not unless some one 'hacks' together a bridgeboard like the GoldenGate Bridge II+ (http://www.amiga-hardware.com/gg2.html) for PCI cards.

Hello

that is realy the correct model thank you :)
Before i found amiga.org i think i have search for this model easy 6h on major search engines ;:).

OK now i am sure its not working i have try back with the correct jumpers settings and nothing to doe amiga no more boot .

So i will see the best to buy a mediator card with working pci .
I am any way also thinking to build a tower my self due that the infinitiv BS plastic tower is realy not pro .
How can this possible to have sell computers in these plastic tower for high prices lol :)) .

Have a look at the Jumper settings taken straight from the manual at

Leole, If you have jumpers correct, how is the power on your system? I have a Micronik mother board with PPC, does the machine boot with no expansion add ons?

Do you have power plugged in to the A1200 floppy drive power connector - Phase 5 recommends that you plug in one of the small power connectors into the floppy power on the mother board.

Good luck     :-)

Hello

yes i have try both settings with and without turbo card .
Nothing work .
For the power to be honnest this A1200 is an experimental box .
I have take it out this BS plastic tower and it run installed on a part of my office board :) .

So its not so hard to add hardware and make test :) .
The amiga is powered with a 250w PSU from that was initialy installed in the infinitiv tower .

I have a blizzard ppc and bvision card .

I have try both power possibility .
Only the amiga with special cable from me for the power .
Work perfectly without the micronik card
not work with micronik card

i have try only the micronik card put the power on .
Same not work black screen .

Then i have try both power on the micronik card and on the amiga original connector .
Not work

All outside hardware from the amiga like HD diskdrive cdrom etc are connected directly to the psu .

I am 100 % sure that i have enough power due that power problems was probably one of the first problem i got when i have upgraded my a1200 :)

And for sure all is working perfectly before i add the micronik card .

Thank for your help i will visit the group for the board later today thx for the infos :)
