Thanx for the info, I'll be buying that issue. When does Hybris come out on iOS?

From my aw.net post:

Just got Battle Squadron for my newly dual booting HP Touch pad running WebOS & Cyganenmod Android and I must say it has the best control that I've ever used on a tablet and the game play is so true to our beloved Amiga version...in short GREAT JOB COPE-COM

Hi everybody :)

After almost 20 years the best Amiga shooter appears again, in a real physical computer magazine! The large and well known Retro Gamer magazine has an article in this month issue 107 about "The Making of Battle Squadron". :)

Snip Retro gamer issue 107 - http://retrogamer.net/
"Denmark... the country that brought us The little Mermaid, brooding TV dramas, Carlsberg, and classic Amiga shooters Hybris and Battle Squadron. Mike Bevan talks to Martin Pedersen and Torben Larsen, the duo behind these scandinavian shootfests..."

Hi how long time did it take to developed Hybris on the Amiga?

I loved Battle Squadron!!!  My brother and I played that game together quite a bit.  Way more fun with 2 people playing in my opinion.  I prefered the emerald green shot the best!!!  The Nova bomb was cool too, but some times could not execute at just the right time.  Good Times!!:laugh1:

@TorbenLarsen

Even though I'm not entirely sure I laid my hungry hands on those games (I did know about them at least, from magazines I still have) it's nice to see you post here. You know what would be nice additionally ? I always enjoy reading the life chronology of old school game programmers.
I have spoken !

@Torben

A little painful to read, but hey it's the thought that counts :D
It must feel nice to have your old game featured in mags and uploaded/viewed/commented in youtube etc eh ? :)

You are right :)
Considering how competitive the game market is today it really is a joy, to see one of the famed Amiga shooters having a second coming. :angel:
