You tell us! Read what Workbench says. I'm guessing it's a 256kb or a 512kb upgrade...

Actually, it's SlowRAM since it's located on the chip bus.

Is it a ChipRam upgrade or FastRam upgrade?
Where to find schematic about this hack? (I've found this: http://users.on.net/~clockmeister/other/Amiga-1000/)
Thx.

Wow!  I have never seen anyone stack them three high, on top of each other like that, only double stacks before on other computer hack projects.
How are you helping the Amiga community? :)

Yeah, my guess would be 512k of ranger c00000 memory. Workbench will say it's fast ram. It's no faster than chip ram, it just can't be used as chip ram. Slow ram is the unofficial name of it.

The A1000 has 256k of chip ram there and another 256k in the front slot. Which I assume is why there is an odd number of chips.

I know it's not technically fastram but I just answered what kind of hack it was, it's recognized as fastram even tho it isen't.

$C0 RAM autoconfigs. (Not technically, but motherboard RAM never does - it's just detected and used.)
