My Floppy night.
« on: August 12, 2012, 11:07:50 PM »
Well after reading a bit here tonight, I thought id do something useful and I went to get out one of my boxes DD floppies that I have not touched in years and check how many still works.

This have to be done more often but you never come around to do it, so started with my oldest box today and ill continue coming days.

The worst part is that I get stuck playing good games when they come up and work ;)

Ill do these 250ish tonight at least and do the rest of mabe 1-1.5K disk this week.
The sad part is that I bet half of em do not work anymore :(

Found alot of fun disks also my old DD Pascal floppies witch was fun since I did not think I had them anymore.

The stack of disks to the right is checked and works the rest is sorted by color for fun and needs to be checked.

Haha here is a fun one, don't you just love them ;)

Thanks, im testing them in my A1200 since it got the best working drive :) (Wish I had a catweasle right now).

Im surprised over the amount of floppies that still work tho, the fail-rate is decent for their age, most non working floppies are "no name" brands.
