old data base
« on: August 06, 2012, 04:48:34 PM »
I found an old Shareware data base I used to use years ago called "Addresser". What I have is version 2.02.
Is the last version that was released?
I know I paid the $15.00 fee, and received the newer version disk way back when. But I can't remember what version is which, and can't seem to track it down.

Damn, I though there were some Amiga user here. No one remembers this software? It was even reviewed in a magazine at one time (Big deal for a shareware program!), but I can't remember which one.....

I used to use it too.. If it was the same program, it was for addresses & phone numbers only. My version is older... v1.0. Still filled up with a lot of folks I haven't seen in years. ;-)

I own 2.0.  If you want another copy since you registered it, let me know.

Assuming the author isn't around and doesn't mind:)...

On a semi-related note... I thought you were referring to the program called "Address-It", by fellow Canadian Syd Bolton.  He ran the company Legendary Design Technologies.

Anyhoo, have a look at his site:  http://pcmuseum.ca/details.asp?id=36229&type=Software

It contains many cool references to many other old machines.

Enjoy!
