Could this gfx card work in PPC Amigas ?
« on: February 13, 2012, 11:12:49 PM »
Haven't followed more recent developments due to time constraints. Recently I stumbled on this card which is PCI! Would it work on any PCI PPC motherboard ? I remember there being some disappointment that you couldn't get faster/newer gfx cards for older AGP based motherboards, so maybe this could solve the problem.  Having recently bought a Pegasus2 (G3) on Christmas that I still haven't installed it would be good news for me...

Then again, the processor speed/bus probably wouldn't be able to take advantage of it but hey, it's a find.

I don't know if AOS4 has support for that HD5XXX cards yet. There is apparently some support for HD4XXX cards.
Obviously there is no support under MorphOS.
