With the recent HVSC release, I've been playing with Sid4Amiga, the Picasso IV audio "mixer," AHI, and a $5 USB sound card.
The output of the USB sound card is run through the PIV (with a small cost of attenuation) so that I don't have to move wires around depending upon what output I need to use.
I have the AudioSelect commodity running to allow me to select between the four input sources on the PIV but I desire an easier way to select inputs than calling up AudioSelect and choosing the input from there. Hot keys for each of the four inputs would be nice, though I would only be using three: Amiga audio, CD, and PIV line-in.
Is there are better selection tool than AudioSelect for the PIV? My other option would be to run the PIV output through the USB card but since it doesn't automatically run the line-in through the output, I would need a tool to do that. I'm trying to avoid doing so, but I might just need to use a manual switch box or external mixer.
