need help with distant suns
« on: December 20, 2011, 12:14:46 AM »
Dear Friends:

I use to have an original distant suns CD (complete) but I gave it away
as my amiga 1200 does not have a cd drive anymore. (and NO, i do not want a cd drive
anymore).
I just found out (and I did not know)on ebay that there is an older version
of distant suns, v4.1 which comes in floppy disks.
I am really excited, because I would love to use this program again.
Will this floppy disk version of distant suns work on my amiga 1200
with GVP JAWS 030 accelerator ?
Please help me...I would love to use this programme again.

..."Demo version of Distant Suns 4.1, an Amiga planetarium program
that has collected numerous awards.  Comes in two versions,
one that runs under AmigaDOS 1.3 and uses software floating
point, and another that runs under AmigaDOS 2.0 and requires
a hardware floating point coprocessor.  The demo includes a
star database with approximately 3700 stars, some limited
lunar images, and Halley's comet.  Requires 1 Mb of memory."...
