Wonky A500 and AdRAM540
« on: December 10, 2011, 11:01:44 PM »
This is a rescue from a garage sale.

I got these together without the driver disk or a mouse.  Figured the AdRAM540 wasn't a whole lot of use without the driver, so removed it from the computer.

Upon booting it up, I noticed the amount of RAM was off by a good amount from the 512K I was expecting.  It does not green screen, but there is something odd going on here!

The motherboard is a rev. 6A.  When I uninstalled the AdRAM540, I moved the jumpers(solder pads) on the motherboard back to where they were originally.

Anyway, the setup comes with the A500, the AdRAM540(fully loaded) and the power supply.  Sorry no mouse.

The case is somewhat yellowed.

Keyboard and complete case are included, just not shown in the pictures!  If anyone wants pictures of the computer put together, let me know and I'll post them.

Fifty bucks (American) plus shipping and it's all yours!  Or best offer...

I'm located in Amarillo, TX 79109 so you can calculate shipping costs.  Figure it'll weigh around 10 pounds and size of the box, 20"X14"X12".

I'm willing to ship FedEx, USPS, or UPS.

Okay, it's been a while since I played with WB 1.3 and forgot the RAM disk takes some of the free RAM away!

Everything is okay with this unit RAM wise.

Bumping and found the driver disk so all of the RAM is available now.

Also, last week here.  After that, it goes over to that bay auction place...
