Wanted Manual Personal Component Adapter
« on: December 07, 2011, 07:36:38 PM »
I bought a DPS Personal Component Video Adapter at AmiWest2011, sans manual.
I would like a copy of the manual.

At the very least, I need to know where to plug the cable into the toaster4000?

Thanks in advance,

m
Did a lot of web, I couldn't even find the company DPS, which had a web site years ago.

Are you talking about the ribbon cable? Manual says "Install the 14" cable with two female connectors from the JP2 header on the VT to P2 on the PCA card" and "Install the 14.5" cable with one male and one female connector from the JP5 connector on the VT to P5 on the PCA card. Red stripe toward the front of the computer".It also mentions damage to the VT if not done correctly.Manual is about 25 pages and has several diagrams on how to connect with various components. Hope that helps.

Yes! Every little bit helps. (without manual possible-damage to VT) Thank you.
By any chance, can I make a copy of the manual?
I will be glad to pay for copying and mailing.
