These products are just as legitimately ?Amiga" as Amiga One and Sam products or Hyperion OS4.

The Friedens wrote software for AOS 3.x and Hyperion ported games to the classic Amigas. They are as much Amiga s anything that are left of the Amiga. Do you hate just for the sake of hating?

I have to agree with nicholas I am afraid.

As much as we hate it, Amiga INC owns the right to the Amiga Brand name.  So anything licenced and using the Amiga name is legitimate and offical.

We don't have to like it, and one could say that it has nothing to do with the Original Amiga.   But it the eyes of the law these things are more legitimate Amiga products than MiniMix, Natami, Morphos etc .

Interesting concept, but a mobile OS from 2008 on outdated hardware, but I'm sure the Amiga name will sell a few, sadly.

2008 is pretty recent, in Amiga terms.

Although I'm surprised they haven't tried to flog a PowerPC based phone..

There is nothing illegal about raping a smartphone or tv set. It really jus means you are awesome.
Hey now, just because it's legal doesn't make it right. I've got nothing but respect for someone who has a loving relationship and corresponding healthy sex life with their appliances, but assault isn't cool no matter how casually the law looks upon it.

Who gives a damn about trademark law? People didn't just go along with New Coke simply because it was a legal use of a trademark.
