Amiga 1200 display issues
« on: August 10, 2011, 11:43:35 PM »
Hi having just purchased a Amiga 1200 and being a complete novice to all thing's Amiga looking for advice on a display issue I have. The picture I have when the 1200 is loading a game is about 2 inches to left leaving a black bar down the right side of the screen, when the game is playing the picture is 2 inches up from the bottom and still two inches to left leaving me with a black bar on the right side and along the bottom of the screen. I have the 1200 running through a 23 way D Plug RGB scart lead running on a 50 inch Panasonic Viera model no. TX-P50VT20BA I can appreciate that this tv was not designed with a 1200 in mind and I have tried adjusting the aspect ratios but that just stretched or reduced the picture. Any advice welcomed I have a VGA socket on the tv would a VGA lead help? I haven't tried crappy RF vision yet as I want the best picture possible. Help required!!!
