Interesting, I didn't know that.

The zorro and video slot sections should still be Amiga powered, so that shouldn't be a problem.

What PCI cards do you have?

If it's just a network card and a lower power video card, I'd give it a shot and keep looking to add the connector.

From Elbox:

This connector is not necessary.
It is only the additional power supply. In most configurations the regular supply is sufficient.

So, I'm hesitant to fire it up with all the gadgets that I have plugged into it...what do you guys think?

Well, on my A4000 without that power all std. amiga ports dosne't working. Audio, serial, parallel dosen't work at all.
Mediator and all card inside work ok.

Hmm, that's interesting.  I hooked everything up today but have a few more things to do before I power it on for the first time.

For the record, I have the following in the mediator:

Voodoo3
Fast ethernet
USB 2.0
TV Card
SoundBlaster card

In the zorro side:
Fast ATA MKV

In the zorro/graphics side:
CV3D/Scandoubler

We'll see tomorrow :)  Thanks a ton for all the help dudes.
