Hello

I have tride to get my new silversurfer hardware to work, but with no luck.

I boogth it from Vesalia Computer, but they did not send it with a com port cabel, and when I e-mail them, they sent a clock port kabel innsted.... But I found a old flat kabel 9 pin comport kabel from a old PC I have tride to use. But I'm not sure if it's rigth. Anybody now have I can control that I have it rigth?

silversurf-> 9-pin comport
red. upper
1-> 1
2-> 2
3-> 3
4-> 4
5-> 5

red. lover
6-> 6
7-> 7
8-> 8
9-> 9
10->

thise I have ohm out so I think it's rigth.

I have put the silversurfer.device file in the devs directory. Same place the serial.device file is.

I have tride to get Amige explorer to use it. But can't get it to work.
It works with the original seriel device.
I have tride kermit to send and recive. But no luck with the silversurf. Original works.

Please help, what can I do as the next step.

Are you getting "unspecifed error" when trying to use Amiga Explorer?
Try lowering the baud rate on both sides to 9600

Can't help about the cable pin out sorry but I used simple null-modem with mine. I don't think it works with straight thru

Yes, I have done it.

It was wrong on the cabel. Had to resolder it.

I made a picture to show how I did it. Now I get 115200 from amiga to pc with Aniga Exploer.
