Possibly set up a newby with a Total Dump?
« on: June 22, 2011, 01:40:40 AM »
Hi Real Amiga Folks,
Many years ago, attended NWAG (NAG) Portland, and a couple CA Sacto shows - heard The Kernel and Amiga Inc. Pres speak.  OK - have a pallet of Amiga stuff and want to sell it as a unit.  I would like it to go to new blood.  Don't know what it's worth today, but want $550 including US shipping, but not including costs out of US, but maybe Vancouver BC delivery.  (Don"t have space or time to deal with item by item descriptions.)

There's an A2000; my original A1000; a 500 or 2; some C64s, I think; a few hundred programs, disk and CD; a genlock; a ton of magazines including Amiga World number 1; couple monitors, Amiga and a Sony;and many curious and curioser items and historical goodies.  Wil verify the status of the A2000 battery prior to any deal (new about 5 yrs ago, not used since, should be OK. From Clackamas Computers)

OK - am not fishing for offers, not wanting to do the detailed answers careful persons ask.  Sorry.  Please no gifting inquiries at this time.

If you read this far, I might part with my SX too, if we get up a good candidate.  I'm not being disrespectful of my mates, I would just like to see this pallet go to some new up and coming force in the Amiga world, a person you may know that could be Schwartzian (I wish!).

OK, is this too obtuse, or is it simply a bad idea?  This is above my knowledge at this time - I'm ignoring eBay if possible and so would value a few comments. :)
