Since the 'get-go' is that what you young people say today. From the beginning is what I meant to say. The family had Amigas from the start and my father was very keen and had several. Don't think there was a member of the family that didn't have an Amiga in the house. Kinda brought us all together under one machine seeings as my sister had been into Atari and I was keen on the Spectrum. We all agreed it was the best computer to have. Still hold that view I guess. But then i would say that.

Amiga 3000 | 68030 @ 25 Mhz | 18 MB RAM | 3.2 GB SCSI hard drive

Vic 20 w/C2N datassette (trying to find it!)

Got my first Amiga in the year of 1990. It was an Amiga 500. Moved on to the Amiga 1200 in 1994. Still using an Amiga 1200 today, but with extras like turbo-card, PCMCIA wireless adapter, CF-card adapter and so on. It's a great machine and I love it! :)

Started out with an A500+ in 1991. I'm right on the cusp of "Professional User" and "Old Timer". Wow, 20 years ago! Where has the time gone?

LOL, I just re-read the survey questions and I realized that I do qualify for the top spot (within the 1st two years of release).  My dad bought my A1000 back in 1986, with an order for the Sidecar (which never materialized).

In 1987, I upgraded to an A2000 via the trade your A1000 for a discounted A2000.

In 1992, I sold the A2000 for an A4000 (Emplant board, Picasso II, etc), which I sold in 1997 for good money.  Looking back, that was a BIG mistake, but I needed the $$$ at the time :(

I still believe that the A4000d was the best laid out machine C= ever built.  It had amazing expansion capabilities (given its size), with the exception of the optical drive (5.25") bay that was a bit too short, running into the PS.

Anyway, I was never a gamer, using the machine for business apps, programming and some 3D/video editing work.
