Free Amiga Gear - Perth, WA Metro Area
« on: May 12, 2011, 10:39:27 AM »
I have the following gear which is free to anybody that wants it. There's other items to go with them but I won't list it all here.  Please note, you must be willing to pick up these items from the Perth metro area (Western Australia). Sorry, I will not ship/post the items and I'm not willing to split them. It's all or nothing.

A4000
CD32
A500

If you want these items, or want a more detailed list then please PM me. Thanks.
Cheers
OddSocks.

An A4000 for free?

With petrol running north of $1.40 a litre I was still tempted. Perth around 3,000 kms from here, a thousand of which is that god awful drive across the nullabor.

What we\'re witnessing is the sad, lonely crowing of that last, doomed cock.

Then all you needed to do was to jump on a Tiger flight.... oh wait, that is me.

Drive to work (at Tullamarine Airport), Jump on Tiger, Get my folks to pick me up in Perth...

[edit] and if it is $1.40 a litre, then it is in excess of $2 a Litre on the Nullabor at the few servo's there are.

Where in Perth are you OP ?

South of the river, in Kenwick. Probably moot now anyway. I can't believe anyone would be crazy enough to drive across the nullabor to pick it up, that's dedication :-)

Damn, my wife is going to Perth to visit her parents in a couple of months.  A load of free Amiga equipment might have been enough to tempt me to visit the Outlaws again.  :D

AArrgg!  This world is so Cruel.  Odd socks I'm guessing you are Ian?  So I missed out because I didn't read my wifes email soon enough and I didn't log onto Amiga.org frequently enough...  Biggest missed oppurtunity of my life.  :-(

Legend has it that cool free Amiga gear occasionally appears around these parts, but an evil monster called Lord Spunky immediately gobbles them all up for himself.  And, thus, the rest of us are all doomed to an eterninty of inflated Ebay prices.  It's a sad story.
