I need some help with the World construction set, 1.1.
I am trying to import DEM-Files from the gtopo30 set but I am not fully successfull so far
I want to use the tile w020n90 wich covers Europe. The tile goes from -20 degrees to 20 degrees longitude and 90 .. 40 degrees latitude. I converted it to get 16 smaller tiles per row and 20 tiles per column.
Now in the mapview I see Europe. Nice. But when I try to zoom into the my problem arrises:
I cannot zoom into Germany for instance. I always get Great Britain instead. There seems to be a problem with the Zero-Meridian (Greenwitch) As loong as the longitude remains positive it seems to work but if I try to zoom into negative longitude area it seems to ignore the sign...
Can anybody help me with that problem? Is there a bug or am I doing something completely wrong?
