It may be enough for sure, but it ISN'T exactly the same thing...
Alambik Script gives a cool oldschool demoscene appeal.
And has 3D and vector primitives...

You will find on this site the last release of the AlambikĀ® Viewer developed from the recent porting of AlambikĀ® Script 4.0 under the Windows operating systems (Win 95, 98, Millennium, NT, W2K, XP).

Odd...  I experienced the nausea of seeing another basically useless Wintel-only  plug-in.  

Honestly.  What's so special about it?  There's nothing to it that can't be done as well or better with tools that are already common on multiple platforms.
