Mysterious USB problem
« on: March 13, 2011, 06:49:31 PM »
Hi to all.

I have an Algor USB board on my A500 Plus (with a zorro adapter) and it suffers a strange problem when accesing removable mass storage.

I need to copy datas from my A1200 with Subway or A2000 with Deneb to the A500 Plus. All of them have the latest Poseidon and FAT95 installed.

If i use an USB key or a card reader with a 2GB SD, i can load them with files and read them ok on both the A1200 and the A2000. But on the A500 i only see some of the files (on DOpus or in WB with "show all files" ).
Back on the A1200/A2000 or even PC, all the files are missing except those viewable on the A500, but all the disk space is still occupied.

I am puzzled with this problem and don't know what to do next.

Any idea?
10 Classic Amiga Computers so far: I have too many computers!!

Sounds to me if the data transfer is not reliable and some data didn't get written back correctly. I'm pretty sure that kind of configuration was never tested. I still have that test program here. Send me an email if you want to try it.
