You should go and learn logic.

No, it just means that instead of booting MS-DOS7 from MBR you are booting from LILO.

Who uses LILO these days?!  And, usually, unless you are weird, LILO (or its year 2000 equivalent GRUB) is installed in the MBR.

Just saying.

Plus, everyone knows that WinXP uses a proprietary blend of 7 monolithic and microkernel herbs and spices.

Furthermore, who in their right mind would think that there is no hardware?  This thread is the fail.

Then were is the hardware at?  We are approaching Spring of 2011 and it's nearly a year behind it's much announced release date.   So where is it?

Don't think I don't know what you're going to say, but if he could hardly afford to be in the program he wouldn't have spent the money. It's pretty clear what actually happened here.

Whether true or not, the designer of the X1000 Varisys has removed all statements related to that processor (including their own  VM31).

Maybe Trevor should have picked a processor that was actually available for purchase, rather than an EOL component.

Yes, of course: It seems to be clear that you are living in your own reality - only losley connected to rest of the planet. :D

Maybe it's with Commodore USA's PC64?

Quote
In response to an overwhelming demand from former Commodore users worldwide, Commodore USA's CTO Leo Nigro announced today that their new Commodore PC64 will be available for purchase this holiday season. Featuring an exact replica of the original beige chassis Commodore C64, this new addition to our lineup will include an Intel Atom 525 CPU with NVIDIA Ion2 graphics, 4GB DDR3 memory, 1TB Hdd, HDMI, DVD/CD optical drive (Blu-ray optional), dual-link DVI, six USB ports, integrated 802.11n WiFi, bluetooth and a 6-in-1 media card reader.

Sometimes things take longer than anticipated.

I think there is a different question. If this isn´t true (and we have no evidence it could be), what is the motivation of these Moobunny guys spreading FUD like this.

Do they have stock in Genesi?
Are they just bitter people who want AEON to fail?
Or are they just lame trolls, who have given up on harvesting more popular websites?

I should have made this a poll.

Genesi?  Why would they have any interest in the success or failure of AEON?  They don't even have any interest in MorphOS any longer.

Bitter people?  Maybe, but I would characterize them as malicious people that have nothing better to do with their free time and enjoy stirring up trouble for easy targets.  AEON (& Hyperion), for whatever reasons, have left themselves open to many attacks by disbelievers because they have made so many BIG announcements of their "Most Ambitious Project", including failed delivery dates, support for dual processors/cores that was then backed away from until later, and then followed up with a lack of information regarding their beta testing program, which leads some people to wonder if any production of beta motherboards has even happened yet.

The style of their announcements to try to generate so much attention would have been okay if it had been done closer to an actual release date, but they made too much noise too far in advance and then have left the potential customers hanging for too long waiting for some real proof of production and progress on all of their claims.

Personally, I hope that all is still going forward and that they will soon break their silence and show a finished product, or at least the progress of the beta program.  I want them to succeed, even if I can't afford to buy an X1000, I would like to see them make and sell as many of them as possible.
How are you helping the Amiga community? :)

One does not inspire confidence by saying everything is going according to plan when you are 9 months late.  If everything is going as planed then you knew summer 2010 wasn't going to happen so why did you announce it?
