Can anyone ID this GVP accelerator?
« on: January 14, 2011, 12:10:44 PM »
It's an A1200 trapdoor expansion.  I just bought it but I dunno what it is as the seller had no idea.

030+882 perhaps?

GVP only made 1 or 2 1200 accelerators. Have a look at the hardware database: http://amiga.resource.cx/

Thanks Matt,

I think it's this one: http://amiga.resource.cx/exp/gvp1230mk2

Not too shabby.  Here's hoping it's the 50Mhz full 030! :)

It looks like a GVP A1230 Turbo+ Series II. Easiest way to check is to look on the other side of the accelerator. If there is a little black expansion port than it's the Series II. That port can be used with the optional scsi exapnsion card.

It's got the expansion port on the rear side so it must be a series II.

Hopefully it should arrive later today and I can double check it for myself.
