Any options out there for these machines to get CF drives through SCSI, and if so, recommendations?

Been working on the same issue, my A4000 has the IDE > CF adapter and its awesome. Want the same for the A2000.
Seems the SCSI>IDE adapters are pretty pricey, trying to find a Buddha Flash IDE adapter that fits in your Zorro II slot and will then attach the IDE to CF adapter.
Buddha Flash is no longer made and having no luck finding the Flash version myself, but keeping my eye peeled.

There are SCSI to IDE and IDE to CF solutions that can be combined, (search SCSI to IDE on eBay,) usually for the cost I just stick with old SCSI drives though.

edit: wow, bad day, not many results.  ACard is a manufacturer of the handy devices, though.

You can get a IDE controller that plugs into the 68000 and plug an IDE to CF Adaptor on that.  Much cheaper than a SCSI to IDE adaptor! ($150+)

Really?!  craziness!  Does it work even if later down the road I throw in an '030 accelerator?  Is this something that is still built (or has plans/kit) readily available?
