Boot OS4.1 w/out startup-sequence?
« on: August 29, 2014, 04:59:25 AM »
I updated AmiDock some time ago on OS 4.1 Update 6 and now boot causes immediate Guru. Is there a way to boot OS 4.1 on a SAM440 Flex w/out startup-sequence so I can fiddle about?

Thanks.

Holding down both mouse buttons while booting should do it, or use the scroll lock key on the keyboard.

Those seem not to work. Again, this is a SAM440ep Flex. Should work?

Press and hold CTRL while booting. Works the same as CTRL+D on AmigaOS3.x

Pressing LEFT+RIGHT mouse buttons or Pressing NumLock if for Kickstart boot screen, so its one extra step to boot with out startup-sequence.

Yes it does work, you just need to hammer the keyboard, or press the key at the right time, boot process is quick so its not easy. defiantly some thing for the IT pro :-)
