I know this thing has been discussed here before, but I don't remember the verdict... How well does this work with amiga?

I would much prefer an inidivision aga but I'm sick of waiting...
Can this do all amiga 1200 screen modes?

Also, can someone point me to some lcd tv's with svideo in? I have amiga maniac's amiga rgb to svideo converter but no lcd tv with svideo in...

My old 1084 is killing my eyes! Pal high res laced on a 1084 sucks.

Don't bother.... junk

For me anyway(with my PAL A1200) the interlace mode seems to screw up 50% of the time. Its like it mixes up every single line.

If you switch to a non-interlace screen (I typically would click on SysInfo) and switch back or power the device off than on, you have about a 50% chance of getting a usable screen back.

Thats too bad, if it worked, I'd gladly pay that... Thanks for letting me know... You know after going from emulation to aros back to a "real amiga"...

I really am starting to think that aros or emulation is just easier.

All I can really do on this accellerated 1200 is play games...

I have to get a cf card reader for my 1200, copy everythig off of it and then I think its going into storage. I can put a morphos emac in its place or an aros box and not aggravate myself so much.

You may want to try AmigaManiacs SVIDEO adapter...

http://www.amigamaniac.com/RGB_to_PAL_NTSC_adapter.html

Many LCD panels will de-interlace the SVIDEO.

That RGB->CGA thing (even without the interlace issues) produces strange distortion of the video. I guess its scaling is rather poor as it produces lots of vertical lines. You can the device into different resolutions, but all seem to have the lines.

Its not real annoying if you are just using workbench.

I like the SVIDEO adapter better although its not as crisp.
