Change background colour of icon text?
« on: November 19, 2010, 06:45:02 PM »
Hi, if you have a dark coloured wallpaper on Amiga Workbench you cannot read the text under the icons (unless you change the colour of the text).

I seem to remember that there was some way to make a block of solid colour under the icon text.  But I can't find that setting in Preferences.  Does anyone remember how?
Music I've made using Amigas and other retro-instruments: http://theovoids.bandcamp.com

It's in the font preferences for icon text. When you click on the font selector gadget for "Workbench Icon Font", you should have two colours choosers in the font requester for text and field (disabled) and a cycle gadget. Choose the mode "Text+Field" in the cycle gadget and both colour choosers become enabled. Pick your desired colours, save and click OK to return to the main preferences window.
