Well it's that time of year again, christmas ads all over the telly, tv channels telling you how it's great to look forward to their special line up of all those crimbo favorites, The Sound of Music, Home Alone 1, 2 & 3, The Great Escape (never could figure out what that film had to do with Christmas) and all the other repeats they put on year after year. :rolleyes:
It's the time to look forward to those lovely presents that your now fully grown kids, grandchildren, nieces and nephews give you ie:socks, slippers, jars of toffee's that stick to your dentures and you can't remove them for about 3 days, the obligatory hideous pullover that you have to put on just to make their little faces happy then consign to the back of the closet forever once they've all gone home.
We'll I say stuff all that yo ho ho and merry this & merry that malarky, I reckon this year instead of buying the kids, nieces, nephews, aunties, uncles the cat the dog and the budgie presents, all us last remaining members of the Amiga community should spend all our dosh on ourselves and treat ourselves to anything Amiga related we can lay our grubby little mitts on.
Heres my own personal greedy Amiga Crimbo present list...
Nice new Mediator board & all the trimmings (so I can finally get some use from my BPPC card)
A couple of EasyNet cards for some of my other miggies ( so I can have at least 3 computers online to help me post on Amiga.org a bit quicker)
A nice new 60" Plasma (cos me eyesight's not what it used to be and on some of those adult's sites it's difficult to see what's going on)
And generally anything with an Amiga sticker on it (except for CommodoreUSA stuff, cos we all know that's not real Amiga kit)
What are you gonna treat yourself to (if the spouse or partner or wallet will let you...)
