Tutorials about Modern Amiga Programming
« on: December 02, 2003, 01:13:26 PM »
Is there some tutorial about Modern Amiga Programming. I'm especially interested in programming for cybergraphics.

I was now able to configure stormc so far, that I was able to write an example that opens a sample cybergraphics screen.

I might figure out everything for myself too but the problem is that there is often more than one way to do something and I wouldn't neccesarily choose the best one when I do everything on my own.   :-P

You really need the Amiga Developer CD 1.2 for latest Amiga development info.

Modern amiga programs will use MUI, Reaction (ClassAct, Boopsi) and the CGFX APIs for programs.

You can find more info at:

Dude, that site is top stuff :)

Are all those documents free to reproduce? They'd made nice AmigaGuides or Man pages :)

Actually, im looking for something else too. Thats great for functions, but is there a site that has a library of the structures in AmigaOS. For example, the Library structure, what its parts are and their types, what there used for ect?

I guess what im looking for is a document, PDF, that describes these structures. Any ideas? RKM?

Yes RKRM .....

There you will fin a directory called "includes&Autodocs", and in
it a rather big&ugly icon. Click it and you should end in an Amigaguide-file offering
all from library-functions to a index of structures.
1. Make an announcment.
2. Wait a while.
3. Check if it can actually be done.
4. Wait for someone else to do it.
5. Start working on it while giving out hillarious progress-reports.
6. Deny that you have ever announced it
7. Blame someone else
