Connexion native drivers, general fault?!
« on: September 14, 2010, 10:46:36 PM »
hello!

got some real trouble with my connexion here... the a2065 does not work very well, i don't know if it is a faulty AUI port/cable connection or the card itself.

i user a2065 lancetest for testing the card in a2065 emulation mode.
it sometimes gives me all PASS, mostly Internal loopback test got WARN. sometimes it gives FAIL at LANCE configuration test. but never at Buffer memory test.

issues are: miamidx can't find IP adress, if it can find then occasional hangs in FTP transfers etc.

so are there connexion NATIVE drivers somewhere around and how to use them?
what are the typical faults on/with this board? can some interrupt be changed? is the A4000/040 too fast for it?

thx in advance!
regards
