How do i change some default settings of IBrowse?
« on: August 05, 2010, 09:48:04 AM »
Some settings of the preference menu, like Javascript, proxy, etc. I can't find a way to save their state. I change them manually every time i load it.

Right, it works. Changing the settings from the preferences window doesn't affect the state of the corresponding setting on the preferences menu.
For example, if i disable javascript from the preferences window, javascript in preferences menu stays at "default settings" instead of "disable".
Basically i was thinking that when changing the settings from the menu and then select "Save settings as default", IBrowse should.. do what this menu item says.
Anyway, it's not a big deal. Ok.

"default settings" is ok. It means what you set up in the settings window will be used. Use "enable" or "disable" only if you want to override the default settings temporarily. This cannot be saved, it's temporary only. If you want to change the settings only for specific sites, use the URL preferences.
