My family in Iran say the Mullahs are too busy running brothels, excuse me, temporary marriage businesses, to be bothered with terrorism.  They hire goons to beat up people in the night, but  basically are more a local mafia than a global threat.  

Also my family's business is usually hit once a week for money from the goons, the mullahs normally don't get their hands dirty.  Basically a local mullah showed up with some basiji the first time and gave the "you wouldn't want anything to happen to your shop" speech and then left it to the goons to do the dirty work of collecting the money.

....Of course, if you really need proof, you could probably have your implant removed and then open it up. There is probably a microscopic paw print and some signatures on the inside.

Well I finally got mine out......
It took a while and I had to use a screwdriver to lever it out of my left nostril.  When i finally cracked it open I found a fuzzy blue-green encrusted Ni-Cad battery had oozed over everything.  I put it in some vinegar and it disolved...?
But at least the vinegar tasted like a good Shiraz.

Why is it obvious? What characterises an "obvious muslim"?

Between being born to a Muslim (regardless if he secular in nature) father would make him Muslim and having a name H-S-N trilateral root should be enough for most folks.  Then his school paperworks (Islamic and Catholic schools) both have him down as Muslim. I do not doubt he is a practising Christian, but as far as Islam is concerned, he is a Muslim if not a murtadd.

Well, speaking as a Muslim, I disagree. What is written on school documents decades old is hardly relevant.

Unless he was raised as one or took the shahada at some point, he is only Muslim in the sense Muslims believe everybody is: that is, born with the fitra.

Dear Concerned Co-conspirators,

Is it just me or has anyone else noticed the strange absence of canned goods with expiration dates beyond December 21st, 2012?

So far the closest I've found is November 19th,2012. Does anyone know if this date is significant for any reason other than the following...

"Jack Tramiel spent two years in Germany from April 10th 1945 till November 19th 1947." as found at http://www.unitechelectronics.com/hist.htm

and

If you take the year of the Amiga's debut and subtract 85 from that number and then divide that result by 100 you get 19 which is the exactly the same number as the day that my can of tuna fish will expire on in November of 2012.
