OctaMED v.4 from Hard-drive.... ?!
« on: November 24, 2003, 04:57:12 AM »
Hello!
I know this is possible, because on my old a2000 I just had to click "octamed" from my boot menu, and it loaded without a hitch...

My new a600 system is testing my memory and my patience...  I've copied all the files from the floppy  (works fine booting from floppy btw) to my hard-disk... and I keep getting this annoying message

Can't open CUAmiga.gfx1

I've copied the gfx files all over the bloody hard-drive but it still wont load.

Tried using a CLI window to make Octamed my current directory...  same deal...

I'm sure it's something simple... but I've yet to work it out.

Anyone?

Thanks!

Try copying powerpacker.library from coverdisk on to harddrive's libs:

that should do the trick.
