Never heard about an Amiga 3500.  Can you post a picture and/or describe what enhancement(s) it has over A3000?  Perhaps, it's somewhere between A3000 and A4000.

It's a prototype 3000T. Slightly different case, slightly different motherboard.

Exactly. Uses the C= PC clone tower case.

Depends on what you mean by "large!"  I doubt it'd get anywhere near the C65, though.

I know Amiga-Digital has one of these standing below his desk, saw it with my self.
I for one wouldn't pay much more for it than what standard A3000's go for, but they are pretty thin out there, so expect to pay maybe twice as much.

In a word and a letter? F-no! lol

Be easier to find and purchase a 4000. Could probably even retrofit a 4000 mobo in a 3000 case much easier than you'll find someone willing to make an AGA adapter. I say screw AGA though. You need a really fast processor (at least 40mhz 030) if you want to use the higher res desktop screens with more colors with any sense of ease. What makes more sense is investing in an RTG card for those circumstances.

And the few games that take advantage of AGA, which you can still hardly see a difference between that and ECS (not talking Demo's, stills or a pinball game or two)... meh. Not worth going cuckoo for cocoa puffs over IMO.

ECS or RTG I say     Unless of course, an inexpensive AGA solution for our legacy machines was available...  LOL!

And $1725 for the machine with such a lovely ePay description? Wow. Hope they're happy with their purchase I guess.

Actually, I distinctly remember seeing a web page once that claimed to show an AGA retrofit to an A3000. It was literally a mass of fine wires, but I thought I could identify Alice in there.

Naturally, I have my doubts, but whatever it actually was, it involved way too many wires and careful soldering to be somebody's idea of a joke.

It would be more about just doing it - sort of rebuilding a 3000+.
I'm a bit curious as to why nobody's actually done it. Replacing Agnus and Denise with a board for Alice, Lisa and the chip ram would be the hard part. Adding a bit of logic the fun part.
