Workbench backgrounds...
« on: May 15, 2010, 01:29:38 AM »
Where can I find the very best looking 128 or 256 color backgrounds for workbench 3.9?

Most that come with 3.9 look downsampled or just kind of bad... I know I've seen some ridiculous looking 128 and 256 color wallpapers... Any idea where I can find some?

To get the best results from using background images in Workbench you have to understand the way it allocates pens.

Do it the Amiga way. Use a whole bunch of workarounds to get the results you want. There are no easy options!
