Tracking samples collections?
« on: May 04, 2010, 01:24:20 AM »
Does anyone know anywhere you can find a big collection of samples for tracking with modtracker or octamed, preferably already in 8 bit format for amiga?

Lots of 16 bit stuff around, but converting all those files can be a pain, yes I know but I haven't figured out batch processing them.

Just curious if there wasn't a cd-rom or something already, would save alot of time and trouble from trying to do it all manually.

Back in the day, I'd just download every mod I can find and then make directories, bassdrum, snaredrum and so on and rip samples from the mods I liked. I suppose I can do that again but that seems a pain...

I know there have been a good many cdroms with 8bit collections...
