MegaChip 200/500 dodgy, but free!
« on: April 28, 2010, 03:40:29 AM »
Okay, if anyone has been keeping up with my saga regarding my A2000, you know this is the culprit of many jammed up sessions.  Danged thing just doesn't want to work for me.

So, here's the deal.

You want it?  You can have it.  Cost?  Shipping only.

What's included:
DKB MegaChip 2000/5000 with 2 (yes 2!)8375 chips, part number 318069-11.

Just understand, it probably is not any good.  Are the chips good?  Don't know.  I'm not sure if it's the adapter or the chips.  I've lost enough sleep and hair trying to figure it out.  I'm staying with my 1Mb of chip RAM.

Since both of the Agnus chips are NTSC, it would probably be best if it stayed here in the States.  However, I'm open to international shipping.

I'll give this a week and if no one is brave enough to take it off my hands, I'll toss it in the trash.

All I ask is whoever takes it off my hands, just let me know if it works for you!

It'll be strictly first come first served.

Curtis

Hello,

I would like to be in the queue please if possible  :)

I have the NTSC version of Megachip and the chip is directly soldered onto the board. Impossible to change with the PAL version. :(
