Question for Blizzard SCSI-kit owners (in a tower)

I know how to get internal Scsi IDC50 connections, by using an adaptor that connects to the DB25  connector. BUT, is this the best way?? It's stupid and  cumbersome.

By the way, I found some SCSI FAQs refer a 25 pin scsi2 (I think)connection by Apple that basically screwed up the good scsi cabling defined by the standard and effectively lowering the quality of the connection and the maximum lengt of cable. Could this be the case with the SCSI kit 25 connectors ( external and internal) ?

It is, but you have to remember that the SCSI-IV kit was originally designed with a desktop case in mind, so things had to go by that route.

I remember that www.amigasuperbit.com used to sell cables that were custom made for this sort of thing, if you have a towered A1200. You would connect one end to the SCSI-IV kit connector and the other would be a IDC50-pin male. I can only see such a cable for the BPPC cards in their catalogue. Give them a shout. You never know.

Yep, sounds like AmigaSuperBit alright. :-)

I once placed a whole order which was simply ignored. No follow up, no credit card charge, no e-mail, no contact, nothing. Order was valued around 100EUR so I doubt they disregarded it for being a small time deal or something.

However, choices are limited in Amiga world nowadays so you've gotta grab what you can and live with it, I guess. ;-)
