Any place to find RAM for A2000?
« on: April 01, 2010, 06:10:10 AM »
So I am picking up an Amiga 2000 this weekend, but I'd love to expand it to at least 2 megs of RAM. I checked amigakit, but are there any other online stores like that, that I should be aware of ?

Hi!

I have several ramextensions for the A2000. For example:

GVP HC+8 with 105MB HD and 8MB Ram
A2091 with HD and 4MB Ram
A2058 Ramextension with 2MB Ram (expandable to 8MB)
Turboboard Harms with 4MB Ram (or 8?)
Another Turboboard Harms 8MB

So if you're interested, just PM me :)

A2091 with HD and 4MB Ram

How'd you manage to get 4mb of RAM on that board? Inquiring minds want to know

Some people have been successful piggybacking RAM chips in the Atari communities, essentially doubling their RAM with small configurations like this, so wouldn't put it past anyone here to have done that! lol

I think I remember AmigaKit making a new run of Megachip. That will give you max chip ram.
