I thought it was about time I reg a account on here, I'm mainly on AmigaWorld.net but thought should start to check up more on other sites.
I'm been a follower of the Amiga since I first got one in 1993, an A1200, yep that kid of makes me a late arrival. Ever since then I've been wanting a new Amiga, but it never came, hopefully the AmigaONE X1000 will be the machine I been waiting for.
My current Amiga is a A1200, with 68040 - 40Mhz, FPU-40Mhz, 32mb Ram, 8.1Gb Hard Drive, CD-Rom, with Os 3.9, all inside a nice PowerTower which I must say doesn't get used much now as I have Amiga Forever 2008 on my computer, which is faster than the real thing. shame on me I know.
I been kind of looking at a Sam440ep for a while but waited until the OS court battle got sorted and the OS got some improvements and much needed software. Now with the court case over, OS getting more updates, project Timberwolf and other softeware title slowly appearing/improving the likely hood of me getting a new Amiga this year is very high, just waiting to see the full picture and of course price of the X1000 will be.
