Indivision AGA booting
« on: February 08, 2010, 08:53:34 AM »
Should an A1200 with Inidivision AGA boot this way ? :

First when I turn the Amiga on,it reads floppy disc drive normally, then starts to read hard drive(screen black while doing this), then it boots all over again, but this this time the first thing is Indivision AGA screen, and then the booting sequence, then OS 3.9. Im not sure that my miggy always booted this way ...? And this is just to make sure that I did not screw anything up while messing with settings.

Thanks
A1200, Blizzard 1260 + 64mb, Indivision AGA, Subway USB, 8GB CF-HD, PCMCIA network card, OS 3.9.
And a couple of A600\'s :).

That's normal with 3.9, since your system is booting once, then loading the kickstart patches, and then booting again.  Without the Indivision installed you might not notice since the screen is generally black while the reboot happens, but the giveaway there is the system tries to boot from floppy twice.
