1. Are you running scala on your AGA chipset or your gfx card?

2. Never ever use Cybergraphx v3.  It is totally bugridden.
Wanna try a wonderfull strategy game with lots of handdrawn anims,
Magic Spells and Monsters, Incredible playability and lastability,
English speech, etc. Total Chaos AGA

Or if you have to, use at least the latest (r71) version - it's in Aminet.

Good point ChaosLord, In order to get your Scala presentations to work on a graphics card equipped system, you'll need to either A) shut down your graphics card (by disabling the CyberGraphX patch in s:startup-sequence along with any CGX display modes in the monitors folder) and use AGA, or B) buy Hollywood and the Malibu importer for Scala presentations and use that instead.

For option A you'll need a 15 KHz monitor (horizontal sync) or TV to hook up to the AGA outputs of your machine.

For option B you'll need a fair amount of money to upgrade to Hollywood 4.5 + Malibu.  You'll have the advantage of being able to compile your presentations as stand-alone executables for any 24-bit capable Amiga-like system or Windows or Mac if you choose this option.  Links: Hollywood, Malibu, and order form with bundling options listed at the bottom.

I find it odd that it would work under CGX since I know it uses the AGA Copper coprocessor for some transition effects.  It may be possilble to run some presentations that way though.

@Jack

SCALA MM400 is an AmigaOS program.  I am afraid it wasn't really designed with CybergraphxOS in mind.

You can guaranteed run SCALA on your hardware if you remove the cgfx driver from DEVS:Monitors/
Just put it somewhere else so you can bring it back later if you want.

That is what I have done a zillion times in order to run normal Amiga AGA software.  It will work.

There may be other ways of making it work but I donno...

Ahhh yes I remember the other trick now!

There is a terrible bug in all versions of Picasso96OS and CybergrafxOS that I have ever tested.  You can't reliably run AmigaOS software that opens an AmigaOS screen while any P96 or CGX screen is already open.

You can change your workbench to an AGA mode then run SCALA and it might work.

Make sure you have no CGX screens open for this trick to work.  No web browser, no text editor, etc.

If you are using the same Amiga that you used last time then wouldn't all the settings already be set correctly?

I was running Scala MM400 under CGX 4 for years-on a cyberstorm 68060 and a cv64 and it worked fine.  SCala just opened a PAL screen and displayed via the Amiga RGB port on the 1084.

may be get CGX v4?
